What does astrology mean

ASTROLOGY –AN ANCIENT SYMBOLIC LANGUAGE 

Astrology is an ancient symbolic language and the natal chart (radix) can assist with discovering „the red thread“ in one‘s life. By recognising our life themes we come closer to ourselves and others and my learn to understand.

THE STARS

The stars do not suggest or force anything. Actually, they don`t do anything but travel their paths. These paths, or orbits, oft he planets are the basis for divining that which `is in the air`, in the context of what is going on presently upon the earth and with ourselves.

THE PLANETS

 In the „theatre of life“ we are part of the cast. Both leading and supporting actors (the

planets) take on constantly changing positions. One act of life follows the next. It is my experience that it may be beneficial to know and understand one’s own role as well as the roles of the other characters.

I don’t see astrology as a means to predict the future but rather as a tool that helps point out important life themes and make people understand the meaning of their lives.

HEALTH, JOB AND RELATIONSHIP

By using the technique of prognosis, tendencies may be recognised in different realms of life such as health, job, relationships, for a certain period of time. Thus valuable and helpful advice can be given tot he individual persons in their current circumstances.

TRANSITS (from Latin transitare – to pass by) represent certain stages of development whose time of appearance is predetermined. The transits oft he planets allow us deeper insights into the dynamics of life processes but aren`t the cause of our experiences.

What is appropriate „now“?

Any astrological consultation focusses on the question, what is appropriate at this time NOW? For all life processes are dynamic and geared towards development and change. Nothing will remain as it is and everything is subject to change. Life is change.

FATE AND DESTINY

Depending on our possibilities we can create our own destiny and should be doing so. I believe that only very few things in the life of a human being are predetermined.

ONE`S OWN RHYTHM

In no way can astrology replace the self-responsibility that everyone has for his or her own life. Man (and woman) hast he free choice to determine the direction in which the journey of life goes. It is in the discovery or our own rhythm and in living of our lifes that great freedom lies.
